WAYS TO SUPPORT MSH

THE AZALEA HOUSE FUND

Launched in 2023, the Azalea House Fund provides immediate financial support for needs that fall beyond what tuition can cover. Annual gifts support our growing student body through professional development for our staff and high-fidelity Montessori materials for our classrooms.

THE KATHY O'REILLY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND

This fund honors Kathy O'Reilly, a beloved former administrator who was part of MSH for 23 years as a board member, administrator, lead teacher, and substitute teacher before retiring in 2008. Known for her generosity of spirit and her delight in working with children, she is remembered with deep affection. The scholarship supports children who would not otherwise be able to attend MSH, with recipients added as funds allow.

PLANNED AND OTHER GIVING

There are many meaningful ways to give, and we are grateful for each one:

Cash donations — Gifts by cash or check, payable to the Montessori School of Huntsville.

Matching gifts — Many employers match employee and retiree gifts, doubling or even tripling your impact. Your company's personnel office can provide a matching gift form.

Sponsorships — You or your company can sponsor special events, such as Wake Up the Earth each April or the Fall Festival.

Memorials and honorariums — Tax-deductible gifts made in memory or in honor of a family member or friend.

Bequests — A gift made through your will, as a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, a remainder share, or a specific item, fully deductible for estate and inheritance taxes.

Securities — Gifts of stock or appreciated securities, which may offer income tax deductions and reduce capital gains tax liability.

Planned giving — Gifts made as part of your overall financial or estate plan, which often provide future support for the school along with financial benefits to you.
